LGBTQ+ Wedding at The Rose

Addison + Sebby got HITCHED, and man, was their day just filled in the air full of celebration, love, and joy. I have never seen such a large group of people be so hyped up in celebrating a couple getting married. LOVE WINS!!!!!!!

These grooms got married at the Boulder Halfway House on flagstaff mountain in an intimate setting, but followed up their party at The Rose in Golden, which provided a speakeasy, moody, upscale type vibe with a really beautiful natural ambiance full of candles and beautiful florals by Parsley and Valentine.

During the best man’s speech, he spoke about the weight and heaviness that his brother had when he made the decision to come out as gay– the fear of his family and friends potentially no longer accepting him or wanting to be a part of his life, but how worth it was to face that– and to now be rewarded with the most amazing husband. After the emotional speeches, the couple shared in their first dance (Precious Love by James Morrison), and invited their wedding party to join them on the dance floor, which resulted in everyone coming together in a big circle at the end of the song.
These two have a literal village of people who love and support them so much, and I cannot even express how meaningful it was to witness, and what a powerful testimony it was to hear about the beginning of one of their journeys of coming out and watch that whole circle moment– going from the fear of rejection, and physically seeing them surrounded by their best friends and crowded in a room full of people who have so much love for them.
