Denver City Elopement
“We want our photos to look feel the way the movie, the parent trap, felt.”
This couple reached out to me, with plans to secretly run away and elope here in the city after finding my city work on Pinterest! It is such an honor to have couples stumble across my work online and choose to work with me, even from states away! In this case, these two specifically came from ATL, Georgia. Just to know they came from such a beautiful city themselves, with so much to offer, and came to Denver anyway from the draw of my art just is a feeling I cannot even put into words.
The couple got ready separately at an air bnb close to the auraria campus in the city. From there, I drove the bride to meet her groom for a first look at Byron white courthouse. Sharing in an emotional first look, the couple decided to REALLY make it feel like the parent trap by doing the iconic dance that is shared between the little girl and her butler when he is dropping her off at summer camp. The two exchanged vows and rings on the steps, then we continued to explore the city and get those awesome city-scape photos and the couple shared one of those electric uber scooters in some really fun shots. From there, we traveled to the Colorado State capitol and then finished off the night at union station to stop by and get a few drinks at the terminal bar.
