This family of mom, dad, 5 sisters, their baby granddaughter, and pets all made the trek up to St. Mary’s Glacier for their family session in Idaho Springs at St. Mary’s Glacier. St. Mary’s Glacier is a very popular hiking spot which requires no permit but does have a parking lot fee. The parking lot is an honors system so make sure to bring cash. I would also recommend always doing this location during the weekday because weekends are a whole other beast. We did this on a weekday and only saw a handful of other people there.
