Keilyn & John
Keilyn and I met in 2014 in Costa Rica and have been close friends + soul sisters ever since. It was my first time on a missions trip out of the country and this was her first year as a translator. We connected over our love for people and the desire to serve and to help others.
Here we are almost 10 years later, and we have walked through so many ups and downs of life alongside each other. Keilyn was able to see me grow in my relationship with my husband from the very beginning, and I had the honor to also share in her love story as well. She always waited for the right guy to come along- and one day, then came along John. They were able to fight for their international relationship and deal with that long distance through COVID. Finally these two were able to get engaged and plan their wedding. I had the incredible honor of being able to travel to Jacksonville, Florida to spend time with them and capture their engagement session. We went up the coast all the way to St. Augustine onto this famous street in front of Fountain of Youth, and then down to Washington Oaks State Park. One side of the park is full of trees and greenery and the other is the Atlantic ocean. We had some fun at the end of the session by jumping in the water and running around together.
