ABOUT ME

Hey, I’m Emily!

I love connecting with people on a genuine level and truly getting to know people for the core of who they are. I feel that I am able to best photograph people and events when my client’s allow themselves to open up and allow me the privilege of getting to know them.

As for me, I would consider myself an extroverted introvert. I know when to take lead and control (hey, I am an Aries, but don’t fault me for that lol), however, I also know when to be quiet and let the natural moments just play out.

I love exploring nature and national parks. Being born and raised in Colorado, I have been spoiled with some incredible views which I now get to share with others and photograph their own memories. And on a night in, I love trash reality tv and getting my competitive side out by playing a board game.

Photography has literally always been a hobby of mine, since I could remember, I was always stealing my family camera and doing mini photoshoots with my friends. I started out this journey as a side business, really only intending to have a creative outlet and get a chance to photograph some strangers rather than just my friends and family all the time. When I began my business, I was working as a mental health worker at an in-patient psychiatric hospital. In a short period of time, my side business began to unexpectedly flourish so I made the decision to go full in 2021, and it was one of the most fulfilling and life changing decisions that I have ever made. Having my passion become my career, and being able to meet the most amazing people, and being able to capture some of the most important and happiest moments of other’s lives has been an experience that I would not change for the world.
