Justice and TJ got married at the newly renovated Mountain View Ranch Lakeview by Wedgewood. These two high school sweethearts were surrounded by their friends, family, and even previous teachers—one of which who was actually chosen to be their officiant. I was also lucky enough to be chosen as their photographer, as I went to school with the couple as well at Flatirons Christian Academy (previously known as CCA or Cornerstone Christian Academy). I was a bit older than them, but was able to witness these two grow from middle school friends to a full on relationship in their high school years. Pastor Michael facilitated a Christian ceremony, with a blessing of the rings and sharing of communion. The couple used Adriana with the makeup chair and hair not only for their beauty services for the girls, but she also took care of all the floral under her new business New Bloom. The florals, theme, and overall vibe was giving a bright, joyful summer wedding day in the mountains. These two are absolutely so in love, soulmates, and just destined to be together. You could see the pure bliss and joy written all over their faces from start to finish. My favorite parts of the day included when TJ was able to see Justice walking down the aisle for the first time, creating those emotional groom photos, as he teared up seeing his bride meet him down the aisle. Another part was having their friend groups come together and create the most fun and memorable wedding party portrait time together. My goal as your photographer is to prompt those movement type poses so the personalities of all involved really come out, and create candid, natural looking type photos.
