Boneyard Beach: Florida Family Session

While I was in Jax visiting my husband’s family, I had the honor of taking this little family session at Boneyard beach nearby Jacksonville, Florida. High tide was going to take place during sunset so we decided to go a bit earlier in the mid afternoon. It was still super sunny and fighting the harsh light was a task but it definitely created that warm, beachy feel in these photos! Boneyard beach is a unique location and named that due to the eroded sun bleached trees that lay upon the beach. During high tide, all the trees become submerged in the water and inaccessible.

Nala is their warrior daughter who is a childhood cancer survivor. She also has Down syndrome and has been a child model of advocacy and awareness campaigns with the children’s hospital. She is a true inspiration, just full of pure love and joy.
