Sapphire Point Elopement

These two crazy kids from Tennessee decided to run away together to the mountains and dedicate themselves to each other forever.

I personally love elopements, not only did my husband and I elope ourselves, but there is something just so magical about dedicating a day SOLEY to yourselves to do things however you want to. No worries about guests, extraordinary decorations, or massive amounts of coordinating. Just you and the person you love in a beautiful location.

These two decided to proclaim forever in Breckenridge, Colorado.

They decided to do a first look, so the beautiful bride rode with me to the first destination before making our way to Sapphire Point for their own private ceremony. Their elopement took place in early-mid October, so it was a little bit chilly outside but no snow on the ground quite yet.

This first location that we went to for first look does not require a permit. I do not publicly disclose where that location is just due to the fact Colorado is so populated, I like to try to keep some places as private as possible.

After first look and some photos at the first spot, we made our way to the ceremony site. Sapphire Point is located between Dillon and Breckenridge, overlooking the stunning Dillon Reservoir. Sapphire Point does require a photography permit and reservation in advance because it is such a popular place for many couples to elope for obvious reasons.
