Denver Botanical Gardens

Where else is there a better place to share your engagement session photos than the spot you had your very first date? These two met online and came together for the very first time at the Denver Botanical Gardens in Colorado. I LOVE nothing more than to capture these memories in sentimental places. These two are originally from Palestine, and were able to connect over their shared traditions, religion, and culture.

It was extremely important to the couple to find a photographer who had lots of movement, romanticism, and natural looking photos over the traditional and super posed. I feel their kindness and genuine connection is what jumps out at me most by looking at their session, and this is exactly what they wanted. Motion blurs. Interaction. Documentary. Cinematic. Like someone was following them around, and they were main characters in a rom-com movie.

This was my first session working with a woman who wore a hijab, and working with a muslim couple has allowed me the chance to have more representation of diversity within my work. I am so honored to be entrusted with this role and able to capture couples from all different walks of life, religions, lifestyles, etc.

P.S. Free Palestine.
