The Broadmoor Hotel

The Mica’s got married at The Broadmoor hotel’s Pourtales Library in Colorado Springs! The couple got ready together rather than doing a first look, and shared an emotional moment in the hotel suite together after Morgan came out in her dress for the very first time. The groom then proceeded to assist his bride with the finishing touches such as putting on her shoes, helping with jewelry, etc. Tommy is part owner and created of TFL cars, and as an obviously avid car guy, he brought his vintage 72 Mercedes car along for photos, while Morgan got her dark academia library vibe for the ceremony. The old world type of style that The Broadmoor has to offer perfectly met the vision that these two wanted for their special day. They wanted a mix of natural, candid, documentary style photos with a touch of editorial flair, which I provided as their photographer. We were also lucky enough to stumble across some beautiful, in bloom pink cherry blossom trees down the street from the resort while we were looking for a place to do photos of Tommy’s car, creating the most beautiful spring wedding photos. The couple shared in an intimate wedding ceremony alongside only 10 of their closest family members, including parents, a sister, and grandparents.
